My strength is having the courage to work on my weaknesses and not be afraid to look dumb or new. My strength has always been cardiovascular but you rarely see me doing that. Instead I’m hitting heavy lifts, snatches and high skill gymnastics to improve on any \"holes\" in my fitness.

Hunter Booth

Like many others who become obsessed with fitness in our adult years, my passion started with youth sports (soccer) that continued through the collegiate level. I was never the most skilled athlete, but someone you would consider a try-hard in gym class. That urge to compete never went away, and I was left searching for an acceptable outlet as a young adult. I tried different outlets to display my competitiveness, but none of them accepted my desire to absolutely demolish my opponent until I found CrossFit, and it was love at first sight. I couldn’t get enough as an athlete, and my new girlfriend at the time (s/o Coach Katie) gave me the little push I needed to become a Coach and share my passion with the BlkOps members.

My first Operator Challenge at BlkOps. Society leads us to believe that physical competition is reserved for kids. My first competition after college made me realize this isn't true for everyone.  It is still acceptable to train like an athlete even if I'm not a professional.

Pushing people outside their comfort zone to achieve things they previously thought were not possible. In a world full of comfort, the gym teaches us to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. I’m there to keep you accountable and help you with your journey.
