Ryan Ernst

Ryan Ernst is a seasoned coach with 27 years of training experience and a specialty in powerlifting. Starting his athletic journey in endurance sports, Ryan transitioned to powerlifting in his early 30s, where he honed his skills in technique, strength, and competition. In his 40s, he embraced a more well-rounded approach to fitness, incorporating cardio, gymnastics movements, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which he has trained in for over five years.

Ryan is passionate about helping athletes optimize their lifting technique and maximize their strength while focusing on injury prevention and consistent training—especially for older lifters. With a deep reservoir of experience, he enjoys distilling his knowledge to help members grow faster and avoid common pitfalls. Watching members develop and succeed fuels his love for coaching and the BlkOps community.

At BlkOps Fitness, Ryan’s mission is to empower athletes of all ages and abilities, ensuring they train smart and effectively while feeling supported every step of the way. When he's not coaching, Ryan continues to challenge himself through Brazilian jiu-jitsu and his own well-rounded training routine.
