At BlkOps, we don’t throw you into a group class and hope you figure it out. Every new member starts with our Foundations session—a one-on-one coaching experience designed to set you up for success from day one.
In this session, you’ll work directly with a coach to learn proper movement, build body awareness, and get comfortable with the foundational lifts and structure of our classes.
Whether you’re brand new to fitness or have years of experience, Foundations ensures you start strong, train safely, and feel confident stepping into any class.
What does a Foundations session entail?
Warm-Up:
Your coach will prep your body for the hour-long session!
You'll run through a series of mobility and activation drills for the day.
Skill/Strength Work:
Practice functional movements and technical lifts under the watchful eyes of your coach!
This includes weightlifting, gymnastics, and bodyweight movements.
Scaling & Modifications:
Learn modifications adjusted to fit your individual abilities!
This guarantees a challenging but manageable workout experience.
Cool Down & Stretching:
Guided cool-downs to help with post-workout recovery.
Pacing and Consistency:
Learn how to pace our workouts and create a weekly attendance plan to put you on the path to success!!
Coaching & Feedback:
You'll receive Continuous guidance from coaches throughout the entire hour!
Coaches will teach and reinforce technique throughout the class!
